01Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Daftons Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and preparing for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

02Day 2: Arusha – Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, journey through Tanzania's scenic highlands towards Karatu, located on the doorstep of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers beautiful views of coffee plantations, rolling hills, and local villages.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy a leisurely afternoon surrounded by the tranquil landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House
03Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Today you descend more than 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's greatest natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The crater floor hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including black rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, and countless bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before returning to your lodge in the late afternoon.

04Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel through the conservation area with a stop at the famous Olduvai Gorge, one of the world's most important paleoanthropological sites.
Continue into the legendary Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife. Following lunch, enjoy your first game drive through this remarkable ecosystem.

05Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti's endless plains on extensive game drives.
The Serengeti supports one of the largest concentrations of wildlife on Earth, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and vast herds of herbivores. Depending on the season, you may also witness portions of the Great Migration.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush before continuing your wildlife exploration.

06Day 6: Serengeti – Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Enjoy a final morning game drive before transferring to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha.
After lunch, cross into Kenya via the Tarakea border and continue to Amboseli. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive within the Elerai Conservancy, offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

07Day 7: Full Day Amboseli National Park
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Africa's highest mountain.
Game drives take you through swamps, open plains, and acacia woodlands where elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and numerous bird species can be found.
A picnic lunch is enjoyed within the park before returning to camp.

08Day 8: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, travel north through Nairobi and onward to the beautiful freshwater lake of Naivasha in Kenya's Great Rift Valley.
Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy time to relax while taking in the scenic surroundings where giraffes, waterbucks, and hippos are frequently seen.

09Day 9: Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island
Enjoy a relaxed morning before embarking on an afternoon boat safari across Lake Naivasha.

12Day 12: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its rhino sanctuary and diverse wildlife.
Following lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of both black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, and a variety of birdlife around the lake.

13Day 13: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for a farewell lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be transferred to the airport or your Nairobi hotel, bringing your unforgettable East African safari adventure to a close.
