Detailed Itinerary
01Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, renowned for its populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species.
Dinner and Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge / Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
02Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before departing for Lake Naivasha.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge overlooking the lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you may spot hippos and a variety of water birds. Continue with a guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes.
Dinner and Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort / Simba Lodge or similar.
03Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the picturesque Rift Valley landscapes.
Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife inhabiting the vast savannah.
Dinner and Overnight: Fig tree camp, Zebra plains camp / Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.
04Day 4: Full Day Maasai Mara Safari
After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara with extensive game drives. The reserve is home to the Big Five and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Depending on the season, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush near the Mara River while taking in the breathtaking scenery.
