Detailed Itinerary
01Day 1: Airport – Nairobi Hotel
Welcome to Nairobi Kenya – Our representative will meet you at the Airport for meet and greet and transfer to your Nairobi city hotel.
02Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and journey north through Kenya's diverse landscapes, crossing the equator en route to Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at Elephant Bedroom Camp, an intimate tented camp nestled along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.
After some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is famed for its unique northern species including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and gerenuk, often referred to as the "Samburu Special Five."

03Day 3: Exploring Samburu National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the dramatic wilderness of Samburu. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal a landscape shaped by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which attracts elephants, lions, leopards and a remarkable diversity of birdlife.
The reserve offers some of Kenya's finest elephant viewing opportunities, with large herds frequently seen along the riverbanks. Between game drives, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of camp while watching wildlife visit the river below.

04Day 4: Samburu & Optional Reteti Elephant Sanctuary Excursion
Enjoy another day in Samburu with the option of visiting the remarkable Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Namnyak conservancy
Reteti Elephant Sanctuary offers a truly authentic conservation experience, where orphaned elephant calves are cared for by local Samburu communities dedicated to giving them a second chance in the wild. It is conservation at its most genuine and inspiring.
Guests not visiting Reteti can enjoy additional game drives within Samburu

05Day 5: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south into the wildlife-rich plains of Laikipia.
Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. Set within Ol Pejeta Conservancy and overlooking a busy waterhole, the camp provides excellent opportunities to observe wildlife directly from the property.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the conservancy, home to East Africa's largest black rhino population and one of Kenya's highest predator densities.

06Day 6: Full Day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Spend the day exploring one of Africa's most inspiring conservation success stories.
Activities may include:
- Game drives in search of rhinos, lions, elephants and cheetahs.
- A visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen.
- Learning about pioneering rhino conservation initiatives.

07Day 7: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi
Enjoy a final early morning game drive at the conservancy, breakfast then depart for Nairobi.
