8 Days Primates and Predators Safari (Rwanda & Kenya)

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to Kigali Serena Hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a brief city tour of Kigali, including visits to local markets, cultural centers, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

After breakfast, depart Kigali and drive through Rwanda’s scenic countryside toward Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Tiloreza Eco Lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing while enjoying beautiful views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Optional afternoon activities include community visits, nature walks, or cultural experiences.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your thrilling gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park.

Guided by experienced rangers, trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these majestic primates in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast, drive back to Kigali and transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi.

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi by road for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with stops for photography along the way.

Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the vast savannah plains.

Spend a full day exploring the spectacular wildlife-rich plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.

Search for the Big Five alongside cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. Between July and October, visitors may witness the famous Great Wildebeest Migration.

Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari and a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village.
